Kmart Doubles Health and Beauty Coupons this Week

This week Kmart is doubling Health and Beauty coupons. Be sure to check here to see if your Kmart is participating in this event or you could even call your local store to check.

Here are some details to know before heading out:

• You will have to have a shoppers rewards card and scan it before your transaction (I signed up right at the register)
• You can only double 5 coupons per customer per day
• Only coupons up to $2 will be doubled

I myself do not go to Kmart when they double coupons. I find that 5 coupons isn't worth my drive. I also think that Kmart's prices are higher than many other stores.

Kmart Doubles Coupons

Last year around this same time Kmart was rumored to be doubling coupons. Last minute they changed their mind and pulled out? A lot of people here in Utah were disappointed. This year when Kmart issued out the list of what stores were doubling coupons and Utah was on the list I rolled my eyes expecting to have happen what did last year. Well, this year Kmart has supposedly pulled through and is doubling coupons. now, I say supposedly because you just never know for sure how each store will handle this event. After talking to a manager about this event this is what I have discovered:

• You must scan in your shopper rewards card FIRST!
• You can only double 5 coupons per day
• You can only double one of each coupon, so you know how we have multiples of each coupon, you can only use one of your multiples, not all of them
• They will only double a coupon up to $2.00

I live about 25 min away from Kmart and I don't even plan on going there this week. I just don't feel like fighting the crowds to use only 5 coupons a day and only up to a $2.00 value! In the spectrum of things that means the most I can save a day using coupons is $20. It isn't worth the drive for me. I bet all the good deals are low on stock as we speak. I tried to go and get Princess and the Frog at Kmart a few weeks ago and the stock clerk made it clear to me that they have very little in the back and most of the products are on the shelf, so when they are gone, they are gone. I also think Kmart is already a higher priced store when it comes to grocery products.

How come Utah doesn't see more events like this?

Who knows. I am sure after getting into couponing you have realized that places in the Mid West and back East and even in Arizona, double coupons frequently. In fact I have friends that have told me about triple and quadruple coupon days in their area! Yes, I will admit I am jealous of being able to quadruple coupons, but it's just the way it is. I am happy with what I do save using coupons and I am happy with the way my food storage grows each week by using coupons.

I was surprised to see some deals worth mentioning at Kart this week.

My favorite deal is to buy 4 bags of Hershey Pieces Pouches on sale $2/5.

Use (4) $1/1 from SS 1/31.

Kmart will then give you a $10 Gift card when you buy 4 bags.

• Pay $10 for the pouches
• -$4 in coupons
• Factor in the $10 gift card and you have a money maker of $4 on hand.

After you finish eating up one of your bags be sure to save your wrapper. Take that wrapper, fill out this form here and you will recieve a coupon for a FREE bag up to $3.69.

After your rebate this deal turns into a $4 moneymaker on 5 bags of Hershey's Peices.

In the fine print it does say that the gift card will come via mail in certificate and that the gift card is for a future purchase of Hershey products. I am not sure if that means we can only buy Hershey products with the gift card or not.

Kmart also included some in store coupons in their ad this week. There was a coupon that made Oreo's $1.88 (limit one), Angel Soft Toilet Paper 12 pack for $4.49 (limit 1) and 2 liters of Pepsi for .77(limit 2). They require you to purchase a minimum of $10 before taxes, discounts and coupons are applied to use these coupons.

Venom Energy Drink Coupons

Venom Energy drinks are at Kmart for $1.59.

Here is a coupon for B1G1 FREE and another coupon for $1/1.

This will make a GREAT deal.

I haven't been able to find these yet, but I haven't checked Kmart so I am glad I know where to use them now.

Sad News

Kmart is no longer doubling. This is the e-mail i received this afternoon after trying to confirm all the rumors.

"Unfortunately, there are no Utah K-mart stores participating in this current event. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced with being misinformed regarding the participating stores."

I called so many times to corporate to confirm and they all did. Sadly it looks like their minds were changed. I guess it saved me a crazy week. Until next time.......

Kmart Doubles

Confusion, Confusion and more Confusion. Kmart corporate has assured me that all UTAH Kmarts are doubling this week, however no local stores have confirmed this and none of their circulars are reflecting doubling coupons. I have had people heading to the stores this morning and the registers are not automatically doubling, so they had to call corporate from the store! As soon as I find out more I will post! Until then I don't know if I should plan a trip tomorrow or not?
