The best fortune I received was one that said I will soon find true love. I taped it to my computer monitor at work. Not 2-3 days later did I meet my now husband (been married for almost 9 years now). One of my co-workers took that fortune and put it on her computer and she too found her husband quiskly. That is where it ended as another co-worker tried it and it didn't work for her.

"Never eat sushi with a stranger." I'm not a huge fan of sushi so good advice. Also when did they stop giving good fortunes? Now all they ever seem to have in fortune cookies are sayings or comments, not a real fortune.

My favorite fortune was "He who loves you surrounds you" I was out to dinner with my then Boyfriend and then 6 months later we were married! I keep that fortune in my keepsake and found it when we were unpacking in our new apt together! We laughed and now have it hanging in our house! Kinda funny! :)

The best fortune I found from a cookie was "If at first you don't succeed, hide all evidence of failure." I liked this fortune because it made light the issue of our pride.

A fortune that I got was "You will obtain your goal if you maintain your course." We taped it to our fridge to help us stay on our "course" of getting out of debt. Almost there!

I was driving on the freeway after getting done at Rice King in Provo. I saved my cookie for last..cause of course its the best part of asian food, cracked it open and started eating the cookie and was ataken back by the phrase "It would be best if you kept your eyes open at all times". It was very much a twilight moment with the music and everything. Guess I better keep my eyes on the road and not elsewhere ;)

I believe it said something about seizing the day. It was definitely generic though.

I am a follower of this blog and the very best fortune I have ever received was "A vacation on sunny shores is soon in store for you". I keep it where I can see it every day and have been lucky enough to go to the beach at least once a year since I've had that fortune!
