What does DND really mean?
It means-DO NOT DOUBLE!


What does Do Not Double mean?
It means that when Albertson's sends out the "Twice the Value Coupons" that coupon can't be used. Newbies-Click here to read my previous post about what "Twice the Value" means. It doesn't mean if you have 4 coupons for $1 off Suddenly Pasta you can't buy 4 boxes and use all 4 coupons. It just means you can't double the coupon and get $2 off. I hope that clears up some confusion!

Sick Computer

My husband bought me a brand new HP computer in December and since then it has been taken if 4 times to be fixed!!!! It is the worst too, because it goes in to be fixed, takes 2 weeks, it comes home and I have to put everything back on it, then it gets sick again!!! It has been beyond frustrating. I ended up buying some LEMON computer I guess. Anyway I just wanted to explain my lack of posts the last 2 days. I have been dying to tell you guys things, but haven't been able to. I guess that is the worst part of being a solo blogger! I was telling my husband how frustrated I was and guess what....he bought me a new one! It's just for this blog, so there shouldn't be any problems. I am teaching a class tonight and then I will update like crazy! Thanks for being so patient with me!

Tuesday's Meal Planning

Here is some meal planning I did using the items that are on sale at Albertson's this week. I actually am not a huge fan of cooking and my usband would tell you I am not really that wonderful of a cook, so I know my meals are simple and to the point, but it works for me. I hope this helps a little. I just like to show you that you can save a ton of money by utilizing whats on sale into your menu plan for the week.

Weekly Show and Tell

This weeks show and tell is from Marinda White. I love seeing how much money you guys are saving. It's incredible! I loved Marinda's story after I asked her if I could use her picture. She told me that was great and then told me her husband said to send over the recipet! I love it when husbands get excited to show what their wives are saving. One week my husband was so impressed with my loot he took a picture on his phone and showed all "the guys" at work! It's awesome to have the support and motivation of our families! Great job Marinda!

Whats for Dinner

I changed my planned BBQ chicken dinner into this:

YUMMY!!!
Grilled BBQ Chicken Wraps


What You Need
1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts
3 Tbsp. KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing
1/2 cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce, divided
4 flour tortillas (10 inch)
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese
1 tomato, chopped

Make It
HEAT grill to medium heat.
BRUSH chicken with dressing. Grill 6 to 8 min. on each side or until done (165ºF), brushing with 1/4 cup sauce for the last few minutes. Cut into strips.
SPOON remaining sauce down centers of tortillas; top with chicken, cheese and tomatoes. Fold in opposite sides of tortillas; roll up burrito-style.
GRILL, seam-sides down, 8 to 9 min. or until golden brown, turning after 5 min.

Sad News

Kmart is no longer doubling. This is the e-mail i received this afternoon after trying to confirm all the rumors.

"Unfortunately, there are no Utah K-mart stores participating in this current event. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced with being misinformed regarding the participating stores."

I called so many times to corporate to confirm and they all did. Sadly it looks like their minds were changed. I guess it saved me a crazy week. Until next time.......

Kmart Doubles

Confusion, Confusion and more Confusion. Kmart corporate has assured me that all UTAH Kmarts are doubling this week, however no local stores have confirmed this and none of their circulars are reflecting doubling coupons. I have had people heading to the stores this morning and the registers are not automatically doubling, so they had to call corporate from the store! As soon as I find out more I will post! Until then I don't know if I should plan a trip tomorrow or not?
