Spent $104.97 saved $89.78 using Smith's card
Saved $15.75 on coupons
I saved a total of 51% on this purchase!!!! This was my first shopping trip using the tips from she shops smart!! I didn't have any coupons out of the newspapers, but I load coupons on my Smith's card and then used the coupons that you can print off. I can't wait to see what I can save by using coupons out of the newspapers!!!!!

I didn't keep my receipt, so I don't know how much I saved when you include fresh values. But the total before coupons and the mega event savings was $23.59. I paid $10.29 and my savings were $13.30 + fresh values savings.

I loaded up on stuff we only eat when we go camping, (go-gurt, frozen is a favorite) just in time for Labor Day. I spent $34.62 and saved $34.55 plus got a $3.50 OYNSO. I could have done better but the skittles were a good deal as well and they are a camping must-have.

Today was my first couponing shopping trip. I spent $37.45 and saved $33.88. I got 30 Mega Event items. Comparatively, it doesn't seem like I saved very much. Would you guys detail what you got for those amounts when the savings was WAY more than the spending? Thanks!

Smith's is quickly becoming my favorite grocery store! This week I took advantage of the Pillsbury rolls sale. My husband loves hot bread for dinner. They're easy and now they're cheap! I spent $10.88 and saved $13.13. I bought 10 pillsbury rolls, 3 pony tailers and one unplannd and full priced tomato! My 2 year old daughter grabbed one right off the stand and took a bite! We ate the rest of it later for lunch.

I spent $85 and saved $240.00. I was able to get some great deals at Walmart, Albies, and Walgreens (8 containers of the Huggies wipes for .49 a piece and carmel Poppycock popcorn for .24 a bag). I was also proud to get 18 cans of Libby veggies for .40 a can at Walmart using the coupons in last week's Parade mag. My pantry and food storage are looking good (I'm sure you can all relate!). Some good deals this week! I hope the doubles are in tomorrow's paper.

Natalie Z. said...

I just realized that I combined my Walgreens, Walmart and Smith's trips. So please delete my previous post. This is the real one.

At the Smith's Mega Event, I did three transactions, used $20 in cats,

Spent = $41
Saved = $103

I spent $59.56 and saved $37.45. I do more impulse shopping than I should and I'm still trying to get the hang of the coupon thing. My downfall is that I don't go prepared with a plan B or plan C for the things they are sold out of!

I spent $31.00 and I saved $68.00. There was a five dollars off of a $50.00 purchase coupon in the Sunday paper. Give checker $5.00 off coupon first, then other coupons. I saved tons on mega sale items, but also bought 6 gallons of milk, syrup, activia and about $5.oo of produce. My only frustration was not being able to get a raincheck for mega sale items that were out of stock.

Thankyou for all of your hard work, Tori and Emily-I love your blog. It has saved me a lot of money and time.
