We recently attended a Bridal Shower where the theme was "Kitchen Basics". Each guest brought their favorite recipe on a card for the bride and they gave her gifts to help her set up her kitchen like pots, pans dishes and groceries.
We were invited to the shower so we could teach a mini class on how to save money at the grocery store. It was a ton of fun and Emily and I fell in love with the idea. The hostess of the party ended up giving the bride a year long subscription to the newspaper as her bridal shower gift! What better gift for a bride than helping her save money on her groceries ALL year long!
