4 Boxes of Life Cereal
Total Cost: $5.60 with tax!
4 Boxes of Life Cereal
Total Cost: $5.60 with tax!
First Transaction
10 boxes of Oatmeal
Last year when I bought Oatmeal during this sale there were some coupon printed on the inside of the box. They didn't expire until 12/10 so I held on to them hoping they would come in handy and the did for sure today!
Second Transaction
6 boxes of Oatmeal
4 Boxes of Life cereal
I used 4 $1/1 printable coupons (you can see them here on PYP) and then I used the $3/5 AFS coupon that was in the Fresh Market ad!
Each item only ended up costing me .28!!!
Before coupons my bill was $44.00 each transaction! My mouth about dropped when my bill came to only a couple dollars! And somehow I ended up with a coupon for a FREE movie ticket too!
How did you do?

I can't get the PYP link to work.
I seriously can't wait to start saving. I attended your class in Mt. Pleasant and subscribed to the paper. I can't remember when you said my paper would be here. Also, you said we could request a coupon on your blog but I can't find the link. Trina
Hi Trina,
You don't need any newspaper coupons to get this deal! Just the online coupons or the coupons from the Associated Foods Store ads. Your paper should start this Sunday =)
The PYP link is working for me? The online coupon links are in the second post.
You are my hero for sure! You truly have a gift. Congrats on your sweet deal!
I went to my Smiths in Herriman this morning around 9:30 and they wouldn't let me use the coupons...they said that they had just gotten a call from corporate telling them not to take any more coupons because there was a line in the coupon about using it at an associated foods store and they were not going to be reimbursed. The checker said that they were going to be blocking their system from accepting them!!!!! You were one of the lucky ones that got it before!
Thanks Katie!
Marci,
That's too bad =( I just barley went again after asking some of my neighbors for their coupons and my Smith's happily took them?
Marci I'm sad to tell you this but I wento the Herriman Smith's this afternoon and they did accept them. My checker said part way thru the day they got a call changing their mind. It's a steal of a deal. I got 15 boxes mix of cereal and oatmeal for about $5.50 I think. Yeah!!! They also will let you get 2 $5 off per transaction.
ah, I tried at 2 different smiths up north and they wouldn't let me use the coupon either...grr
FYI, it was the Harmons ad that doesn't say only at AFS on it. I ended up going there this morning to pick up a couple ads, then to smiths. they said it wasn't their coupon, but when I told her it didn't say only AFS on this one, they took it, and I got the deal.
I was at Smith's yesterday and I heard one worker tell a lady that they wouldn't take it and got mad at the other teller about it and then I happened to still be there when he had gotten that call that told them they COULD take it. Poor lady that had to feel bad for trying to make it work. I'm afraid that will be me next time. Ha! BTW, where is the extra coupon you are using to make it an even better deal than the 5 for $5?
I was able to use the coupon from the Harmon's ad and IPs at the Smith's in South Jordan. So, I got them for free! (had a bunch of printed coupons and they let me use them all)
The Smith's in Payson is not taking the AFS coupon anymore. I told the cashier that they were taking them yesterday and she said they will not be reimbursed so they aren't taking them anymore.
Thanks guys! All good to know!
The Smith's in Saratoga would not take the AFS coupon either. There isn't a Harmons nearby making the drive worth it to get the coupon that doesn't mention AFS on it. Good thing I printed off those PYP linked coupons. At least I got the oatmeal for free!
