Where to Buy Snow White DVD

Tuesday, October 6, 2009 |
Today is the release date for Snow White! The best places I have seen to buy the DVD is at Walmart for $19.96 or Toys R Us for $19.99.

  • Use the $10 off coupon we printed off here.
  • The $5 Mail in Rebate I talked about here.
  • And wait, another $5 rebate here! This rebate will accept photocopies of your receipt, so you could participate in BOTH mail in rebates.

This will bring the cost of the DVD down to......FREE by time all is said and done! How exciting is that. Who would have thought by using coupons you could get Snow White for FREE! Now the only question is do I wait to use it as a gift at Christmas or break it open tonight for movie night? What are you doing with yours?

* Update- Both rebates do require a Proof of Purchase tab from the movie. On the other Disney movies I have purchased there are 4 Proof of purchase tabs on each movie. They are right above the UPC bar code. If Snow White is the same you will be able to participate in both rebates.

*Another Update 10/7- I purchased my copy last night and there are (2) proof of purchase tabs for the movie =). You can participate in both rebates.

Both rebates require a UPC. Does each movie in the pack have a UPC or just one for the set? Thanks.

I just updated the post to include an answer to this GREAT question. When I looked at my Disney movies I had at home they all had 4 proof of purchase tabs. If Snow White is the same you will be able to participate in both rebates =)

I went to Walmart to get my movie and they were $19.96. The Kernel seasons were only $1.87 each.

We don't have a Walmart nearby and ToysRUs was a little out of the way, so my husband went to Best Buy. They had the Diamond Edition BluRay/DVD combo pack for $34.99. He asked them if they could do a price match with ToysRUs for $19.99 or Walmart for $16.86. After Best Buy did their little research online and deliberated a bit, but gave in and price-matched the ToysRUs offer and then apologized for the delay. Still good!

I bought mine last night =) It is the same price to buy the combo pack. They choose to do that in case BLU Ray players become the new thing and everyone has usless DVDS, kind of like the VHS version. They want people to be able to view it as long as possible. In fact where I purchased mine they didn't even have the DVD only version. With the $10 off coupon it would make the combo package cheaper than the DVD by itself. Hope that helps.
